Have you ever been forgotten? Was it a family member or friend that promised to pick you up from work? Or were you left waiting at the restaurant for that special someone? While being forgotten is quite discouraging, it is so encouraging when someone remembers to lift us up in the midst of our darkest hour.
Noah had been through a fury of persecution from a world of critics. He had suffered waves of grief from the loss of many neighbors and friends. He had experienced his entire world, as he knew it, completely wash away. And then ... in his darkest hour of hopelessness "God remembered Noah".
2019 might open new opportunities and a grand scheme of hopes and dreams for you. Then again, it might lead you into moments that will find you sitting in the dark, feeling forgotten. Be assured my friend, you have a Friend that sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24) who always remembers you. So, in the midst of whatever flood may come your way ... cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
